Hiking in La Ricarda in the Llobregat Delta

We visited the Llobregat Delta Natural Area and the popular Ricarda area. This is a natural space that has taken center stage with the debate about the possible expansion of the airport. Typical of river deltas we find humid vegetation, reeds, pine forests and a multitude of birds – more than 350 different species – that surprise us with their proximity to urban areas.
The beach area also has unique buildings, such as the Semáfor viewpoints and the Carrabiners, popularized on Instagram. These viewpoints give us beautiful views of the coastline, nearby agricultural areas and the expanse of forest and ponds of Ricarda.

Meeting point: 08:30 We meet on Pl. Catalunya in front of the Apple store
If you want to meet us directly in Prat del Llobregat, indicate this when signing up. The meeting point in El Prat is the Parc Nou metro stop, exit Riu Llobregat/Riu Ebre. We will arrive there around 9:20 a.m.
