​Visit to the Ivars - Vila-Sana pond
and discovering the murals

We are going to la Vall del Corb, in the Urgell region. We will enjoy a landscape of humid vegetation around l’Estany d’Ivars i Vila-sana. We will stop for a tour of the emblematic and recently rebuilt Can Sinen farmhouse, integrated into the landscape. There, we will learn about the fauna, vegetation and history of the pond by a local guide.

We will also have an option to take a short walk around the pound to a view tower to better appreciate the scenery.

We´ll eat lunch at a local restaurant in a nearby castle where there is also a winery. The daily menu is 19 euros approx.

In the afternoon we´ll pay a visit to the Enciclopedia Mural de Ivar d´Urgell i i Vila-sana project. This project brings us closer to ornithology and knowledge of the nearby natural environment through street art.

 

Day of the excursion: TBC Wed, Feb 19th or Friday, Feb. 21st  
Minimum group of 7 people and maximum of 15 people.

What to bring: water and good walking shoes.
